Great question! The key is "feedback." To improve at any skill, you need accurate feedback to let you know if you're doing what you're trying to do. A bad swing can hit a good shot, and a good swing can hit a bad shot. So just relying on where the ball goes isn't accurate enough feedback when you're trying to make swing changes. With tools like Trackman, high-speed video, GEARS, and force plates you'll know if you're actually making a change. The feedback helps produce the change. The change produces the feel. And it's those accurate feels you take to the golf course.
