Indoor Golf Practice Near Windermere: Turn One TrackMan Hour Into One Fix
Saturday's round came apart somewhere around the 12th hole, and by the time you were signing the card you'd already decided Tuesday was going to be the day you finally dealt with it. Then Tuesday showed up with a late meeting, a wall of afternoon thunderstorms, and a range that looked like a parking lot. So you didn't practice, or you did and it went nowhere, which honestly might be worse. Practice that never touches Saturday's problem is just exercise.
If you're somewhere around Windermere and you'd like an hour that actually carries over to your next round, there's a way to run one in a TrackMan bay at Athletic Motion Golf Club in Winter Garden. The club has eight private bays with TrackMan in every one of them, and it sits right off Colonial Avenue. Windermere is one of the cities our golfers come from, and this hour was written with them in mind.
Why most practice hours go nowhere
Here's my guess at your last range session. Driver first, because it's fun. Then the 7-iron you trust. Done, feel great, drive home. And the miss from Saturday? Still there, untouched. The course told you what's broken. The range hour was supposed to fix it. Somewhere in between, nobody did the fixing.
What helps is almost embarrassingly simple. Take one miss from your last round into the bay with you. Not the whole bag and not five swing thoughts, just one miss, whether that's the thin iron, the push-slice off the tee, or the wedge that keeps finishing ten yards short exactly when you need it. Decide on the drive over. That's the whole agenda.
The 60-minute plan: one miss, one number
No promises here. Just a routine. Boring on purpose, so you'll actually keep doing it.
Ten minutes in, warm up. Easy swings. A few wedges. Maybe a couple mid-irons. Ignore the screen, because your back isn't ready to be graded yet.
Next ten minutes, baseline. Grab the club that shows your miss. Hit a handful, normal pace. Don't fix anything yet. You're just collecting. Thin iron? Look at launch and carry. Push-slice? Face and path. Pick the one number that tells the truth.
Then twenty-five minutes on the number. Change one thing, hit a few balls, and look at what happened to that number. When it moves the right direction you keep the change, and when it doesn't you let it go and try something else. The goal here isn't one perfect shot. It's a number that actually moves.
Ten more, switch clubs. If the fix survives a club change, you've got something worth taking home. If it falls apart, that's useful too, and you'd much rather find out in a bay than standing on the 14th tee.
Last five, write it down. Type one sentence into your phone covering the miss, the number, and what it felt like when the number finally moved. That sentence goes with you to the first tee next time.
That's an hour. One miss, one number, one sentence.
What you've got in the bay
You'll be hitting Titleist Pro V1 balls, and the club runs TrackMan 4 in every bay. If you want to see how a fix holds up over actual holes you can load a course, and if you'd rather stay locked on your number you can work the virtual range. Slow-motion video is in the bay as well, so you can send a swing to your phone and watch what the number was trying to tell you.
A few things are worth knowing before you walk in. Force plates are on site as club tech, though they aren't part of every casual practice hour. GEARS 3D is its own thing, and that $50,000+ system books with Nick Duffy in a lesson, so an ordinary practice hour means TrackMan. The club is also set up for right-handed players only.
It's the home of Athletic Motion Golf too, with Mike Granato and Shaun Webb behind the Athletic Motion Golf method, but the bay itself is yours to train in.
Why a Winter Garden bay works for a Windermere golfer
Your practice has to fit inside an actual week, and an actual week in Florida includes weather. Afternoon storms don't care about your plan, and neither does the heat or a crowded range, and when a session gets lost you carry the same miss right into the weekend. A private indoor bay protects the hour. It won't replace the course, but it does make sure the one-miss plan gets run.
It's a private bay and you can book when you want, so you pick the hour, show up with your miss, and get to work. TrackMan is in every bay too, which means you're reading the same kind of monitor every visit, and that matters because a number is only useful when you can compare today's to last week's.
Winter Garden is home base, and golfers also come from Orlando, Windermere, Clermont, Ocoee, and Horizon West. If you're near Windermere and you want a room like this, Winter Garden is where it is.
Your first visit
If you'd like to try it once before deciding anything, keep it light. Choose your miss before you book, and last Saturday's round will have handed you one. Book a bay and check the bay rental page for the current first-hour promo. Bring whichever club shows the miss, because one club is plenty to start. Run the five steps above, and walk out with your one sentence. You don't need a membership to rent a bay.
When this becomes your weekly thing
If you run the hour once and like it, membership is how you get regular hours. The membership page (that's site copy) shows three plans. Four hours a month is $79 and twelve hours a month is $167, and both allow up to 2 hours a day. The third is $299 a month, with up to 3 hours a day and family welcome in your bay. There are no contracts, and the page explains how to cancel.
Memberships come with private TrackMan bay access, video swing analysis, and discounted lessons with an AMG Certified Instructor. It's a standing practice block. Not a night-out pass. And if you'd rather have a coach on the miss than work it alone, you can book a lesson with Nick Duffy.

What this isn't
It isn't a drink special and a screen, and it isn't smashing balls until the hour runs out. It isn't a range where three different swing thoughts find you before you've warmed up either. Night-out sim rooms are built for fun and tip-pile ranges are built for volume, while a practice bay with a plan is built for one thing, which is a fix you can carry to the course.
Quick answers
Is this practice, or a night-out sim room?
Practice. You get eight private bays, TrackMan in every one, and a plan built around a single miss and a single number.
Do I need a membership?
No, you can rent a bay without one. Membership starts making sense when this turns into a weekly habit.
Where is the club in relation to Windermere?
In Winter Garden, right off Colonial Avenue. Windermere is one of the cities our golfers come from.
Does every practice hour come with GEARS 3D?
No. GEARS 3D books with Nick Duffy in a lesson, and practice hours are TrackMan.
Can I play a course, or only hit the range?
Either one works. Load a course on TrackMan or use the virtual range, depending on what the hour needs.
Can I get swing video on my phone?
Yes, slow-motion video is in the bay and you can send a swing straight to your phone.
Lefties?
Sorry, no. The club is set up for right-handed players only.
