Host an Indoor Golf Event in Winter Garden | Groups up to 50 at AMGC
Host an Indoor Golf Event in Winter Garden (When a Bar Party Is Not Enough)
You are planning a birthday, a team night, a golf group, a small tournament, or a league gathering. Half the room wants something to do with a club in their hands. The other half does not want to stand around a loud private room with nothing to play.
That is the real decision behind an indoor golf event in Winter Garden.
Athletic Motion Golf Club is built for golf first. Eight private bays. TrackMan in every bay. Home of Athletic Motion Golf. And there is a live event path for groups up to 50 people.

Who this is for
This post is for the person booking the night. Not for someone shopping a random entertainment outing with no golfers in the group.
You might be:
Planning a birthday where golf is the activity, not the afterthought
- Running a business meeting or client night that needs a shared task
- Getting a regular golf group indoors when outdoor weather kills the week
- Looking at a tournament or league idea and want a real TrackMan room
- Comparing a restaurant private room (great food, zero golf) to a facility where guests can actually hit
If nobody in your group cares about golf, pick a different kind of party. If they do, keep reading.
Winter Garden room. West Orlando draw.
Primary city for this post is Winter Garden. That is where Athletic Motion Golf Club sits: 1230 Winter Garden Vineland Rd, Suite 108, right off Colonial Avenue.
Guests also come from Orlando, Windermere, Clermont, Ocoee, and Horizon West. We do not invent drive-time minutes. If your people already know the west side, you already know the route.
Sim play at the club is set up for right-handed players. Factor that when you invite the group.
When a sim club beats a bar or restaurant party
Category contrast only. No business names.
A restaurant private room solves food and noise control. It does not give golfers a shared game.
An entertainment-first sim room can look like a night out. Screens, volume, drinks. Fine for that job. Thin if your group wants private TrackMan practice energy and a real facility feel.
AMGC sits in a different slot:
Private bays, not one giant shared wall of noise as the only option
- TrackMan data in every bay so competitive friends have something real to talk about
- Titleist Pro V1 practice balls and slow-motion video when that serves the night
- Same building as Athletic Motion Golf instruction and True Spec Golf - Orlando West (fitting is separate if someone wants it later)
You are not booking a nightclub with a screen. You are bringing people into an indoor golf club.
What you actually get (and what you do not)
Typically part of an AMGC event conversation (live /host-an-event):
Groups up to 50 people
- Occasion types the page names: birthday parties, business meetings, golf groups, tournaments, leagues, or something else you describe
- Indoor golf in Winter Garden with private TrackMan bays (eight total at the club)
- A conversation about availability, pricing, and what the night could look like after you inquire
Not promised in this post (and not invented):
Package dollar amounts (pricing is discussed after inquiry)
- Food and drink menus or F&B packages
- Guaranteed open bays on a specific date before the team confirms
- GEARS 3D for every guest hour (that $50,000+ system books with Nick Duffy in a lesson when someone wants that session)
- Force plates as an event product (on-site club tech, not every casual hour)
- Exclusive "buyout the whole club" language we do not have on the live page
Mike Granato and Shaun Webb built the Athletic Motion Golf method. They are not the event booking path. If someone in the group wants a lesson later, that soft path is [lessons](https://athleticmotiongolfclub.com/lessons) with Nick Duffy when GEARS or coaching is the ask. Membership language, if it comes up after the event: discounted lessons with an AMG Certified Instructor.
How inquiry works (this matters)
Live page process:
Start with the basics. A preferred date, an estimated guest count, and the kind of event you have in mind are enough to start.
2. Work out the details. The team discusses availability, pricing, and what your event could look like.
3. Confirm. Your date is not reserved until arrangements are confirmed with the team.
Hard line from the live FAQ: submitting the form does not reserve the date.
That is the honesty filter. An inquiry starts the conversation. It is not a hold. If your date is firm and your guest count is close, say so on the form so the follow-up can be useful.
Do you need every detail before you inquire? No. Share what you know. Estimated guest count and preferred date if you have one. Have something else in mind beyond birthdays, meetings, golf groups, tournaments, or leagues? Tell them in the inquiry.

What a first event night can look like
Every group is different. Here is a concrete shape many hosts use once the team confirms the plan:
Guests arrive and settle. You are indoors. Weather is not the boss.
2. Groups rotate through private TrackMan bays. Friends compete. Casual players just hit.
3. Someone captures a swing and sends slow-motion video to a phone when that fits the vibe.
4. Competitive sets play a short course or range games on the sim stack.
5. You wrap when the booked block ends. No invented last-call script here.
What to tell guests to bring: clubs if they have them, shoes without metal spikes or nubs, and a willingness to take a turn. What not to promise them: a ranked "best venue" night, a catering menu we did not publish, or GEARS for every person who walks in.
If the night goes well and a few people want regular bay time later, membership and bay rental live on the site as separate paths. The event itself stays an event.
Occasion types that fit this room
Pulled from the live page, not a made-up catalog:
Birthday parties. Celebrate with people you like and a little friendly competition.
- Business meetings. Get the team or clients past a whiteboard room.
- Golf groups. Bring the regular crew indoors.
- Tournaments. Talk through a competition format for your group.
- Leagues. Ask about using the facility for a league event.
- Something else. Say it on the inquiry. The page invites that.
Corporate golf event Orlando language shows up in searches. Fine as draw language. The facility stays Winter Garden. Same for Windermere, Clermont, Ocoee, and Horizon West guests in the FAQ.
One short fork: event vs named-bay sponsorship
Want a one-off birthday or team night? Stay on [host an event](https://athleticmotiongolfclub.com/host-an-event).
Want a named bay and ongoing team presence at the club? That is a different conversation: [bay sponsorship](https://athleticmotiongolfclub.com/bay-sponsorship). Inquiry-only on packages. No package prices in this post.
You can host an event without a sponsorship. Do not mix the two into one sales pitch.
How hosts usually decide
Book an event inquiry if your group wants golf as the activity, you are under about 50 people, and a private TrackMan room beats a stand-around party.
Stay a la carte / bay rental if it is two friends and a random Tuesday, not a hosted occasion. Soft path: [bay rental](https://athleticmotiongolfclub.com/bay-rental).
Skip this facility if nobody wants to hit balls and you only need dinner and a private table.
No "best event venue" claim. Just a clear fit check.
